Serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade, Frederick Douglass Elementary School became a Mastery Charter School in July 2015. Students at Frederick Douglass participate in a joyful school day filled with activities, field trips and other enriching events that inspire and motivate. Our rigorous reading program will help lay the foundation for a lifetime of achievement.

Ardmore Avenue is dedicated to giving a quality education to all students. We believe the best way to educate students is through a process which includes instructor creativity and active student involvement. The curriculum is consistent with the guidelines for the William Penn School District, but teachers are encouraged to use new techniques proven effective by the latest educational research.
